Yeah, FLT makes a great tranny and all but unless someone wants to start me a FLT fund i won't be getting one anytime soon.

 

I would say get rid of your truck and get a new tundra with the 5.7 in it, but from what I hear a lightly modded 4.8 can take them...

 

he doesnt need a jap truck... lol, although they are nice... and yet, strokerace killed one and hes running 15's. (lightly modded 4.8)

usually if reverse works, 1st gear will work too. Sounds like you have more bad luck than i do with the drivetrain... if you have the cash, throw it down on an flt like everyone is suggesting.

(or you could go with my original suggestion and sell me the truck for payoff )

 

Why would you want the truck? All you need is the motor.
