Just got through talking with my brother on the cell.
Was telling me how his week had been so far. Sunday he was at a buddys house workin on a boat motor, and the weather got bad so they went inside to drink and goof off. Well he parked his 04 Dmax by a nice size tree. Lighting struck that tree and now his truck is acting weird.
Didnt want to crank and finally got it to run. Then his radio was acting weird, gauge lights are toast, all gauges work though. Headlights flicker all the time, ABS Pump? runs all the time. Took it by a Stealership and they couldnt read the PCM, So they are ordering him a new one.
So after all that ordeal, he was goin to work monday, headed north on I55. The speed limit changes to 60mph right before you get to I20 E & W. Said he was just cruising along at 60mph, he looked in his rearview mirror for some reason and saw this 01-02ish Tahoe flying up on his 6. He didnt have any time to react, The lady in the Tahoe swerved and the front driver side nailed my brothers rear passenger side.
Then spun around and some how hit him in the back passenger side fenderwell. The Tahoe went across the median and ended up on the Frontage road that is elevated quite high above the interstate. What did she have to say to the Highway Trooper you say? "I was only goin about 30mph". I serisouly doubt that she could have even made it up the hill doing 40mph. He has a Flat bed with some welding and other stuff. It didnt bend his truck up to bad, It messed up a tool box that hangs beneath the bed.
The Tahoe on the other hand, Front bumper, grill, fenderwell was all mashed to shreds. Battery was shoved to the rear of the motor some how, and ofcourse the radiator and everything in the front is trashed.
Good thing is, all them problems with the screwy computer and lights are goin to be fixed... Gettin a new toolbox and prob just get a hammer to the passenger side bed. Its a company truck, so thats the way things go.
But his truck is still running.. haha Poor Dmax!
Im hung up in Marietta, Ga for an extra day. Thanks to the high humidity we couldnt open up the transformer and work. But when we were finally ok to get in, by 3pm, the heat of the day. It was like a oven in there. Not sure why the Humidity had anything to do with it, because i sweated so much in there it didnt matter. hahah
We have a long day tom since we got minimal work done today.
So how are yalls week goin?
Later guys!!

But its not as bad as Texas last week.
It wont be bad if you dont have to work outside.
But then again, i hate sittin inside all day in the A/C.
