Default may not be transmission?!?

well after talking with storm5.3 we both came to the conclusion it could be the rearend since it was making alot of noise before the truck broke. was scheduled to go tuesday to the rearend shop for inspection, so we'll see tomorrow, I sure hope it is the rearend 1k compared to 3k

well one reason it when I was reading it with autotap and would put it in gear it would drop rpms like it was inguaging the trans and then back to park the rpms would jump back up to idle rpms, I sure do hope so, so the wife would get off my *** lol ahahha.

If the rear end went THAT bad, you can bet your posi wouldnt look too pretty. Just throwing some stuff out there. Could have stripped the splines on your axles.
