some questions that I was asked

I went thru a "performace shop" that's been around for a while when I used to do some work on VW bugs here and there. They answered all my questions (machine shop) even thoe that I was not paying them direct. I went to the parts shop looking for some good 'ole boy pricing, and they had told me about a shop that they run their machine work threw.

So shops add on what they can and just call it something you could imagine would cost extra. like its not covered under the overhead costs already? LIke eviromental fees? wtf?
Nice explanation!!!!
