Ive got an 82 GMC Sierra Limited RCLB Diesel, the motor is probably frozen and needs to be broken down and restored, tranny is probably shot, tires are still good (to roll it onto a flat bed, lol). but that ol' 6.2L was a work horse (non turbo diesel)... there is so much room to work with on this truck.. you'd have a ball throwing a new motor/tranny in there (i figure thats what you want to do anyway)....

how far is Lumber City from Gainesville?

If it isnt far you could probably come over and see it... I'm looking to let it go for $1500 and thats not firm so i can work with ya. The body is in great shape, the interior was redone about 4 years ago.... and the paint was redone about 6 years ago.. but it wasnt a good paint job. No rust on the body whatsoever, just a lot of scratches and dings, but its def. workable, its been weatherd.. so it would def. need to be sanded completley down bc the paint just looks bad, but as far as rust there isnt any. All the interior is still there guages, pedals, bench seat, carpet, etc. Sliding rear window (which might not slide so easy, lol). Wired for electric locks and windows. Ive pushed it back and forth in the drive way so the axles still move, lol.

Let me know and I can get you some pics.

Whenevery I get out of college (at this rate, thatll be never.... ) I plan on totally rebuilding a 71-72 Chevy shortbed. I wanna drop in an LSX (Turbo. forged 427 )

Seriously, All i want is a streetable Mid 9 sec truck......
