November 5th a few of us are meeting up at the track in greenville, ms. Which is slowprocess' neck of the woods. So far it looks like it's going to be Ranwalk with his 408 force fed monster, myself with my puny 5.3l and maybe tntrck and luke from memphis. slowprocess blew his tranny trying to keep up with a pinto so he will be the video bitch.

if anyone wants to go come on out. 20 bucks to race and bring some side money cause they like to bet at this track. my money is on the banana the whole night.

cars to be in attendance, a tt stealth, force fed mustang, possibly a srt10, along with some other slow stuff.

i know a lot of people are down right now. which for all inents and purposes, this is a good time to be down. no real thunder shootout and well, you can just get stuff done now that the cruise scene is closing down cause of the temps.

on the flip side, the temps are well worth hitting the track up.

Dammit John, stop reminding me about my tranny. FWIW.....it was a Geo Metro, A-hole. I'll be getting drunk since I can't race and probably starting **** that you guys can't handle, like getting races with trailer queens.
You just bring your money with you, and act as dumb as you can about cars/trucks in general, especially when we hit the streets Friday night. We'll pay for your trip and maybe even get you a little nitrous money.

I'll be doing the video work since my truck is a broken POS, so anybody that comes will get free internet airtime on the greatest site in the world(besides DTW.....) Let's get some trucks out here to scare the local rice/ponies back home.

I'm having a hard time finding the time to get my damn Caltracs on. I really want them on and set up for this. might be my only shot at a 1/4 mile track this year and I want to be ready.
Got any ideas on how to make the banana look like a sleeper? It may not help any that I will probably be bringing it on a trailor

 

We need to find a trailer big enough to put John's big *** truck on so I can tow it with the old 2500. That would really scare the **** out of them pulling two trucks into the track on trailers. We wouldn't win a dollar. I'll be carrying my other truck full of tools/slicks/jack/cooler/etc. so maybe we will be able to get the ghost back to my house when it blows up.

John....you can take my Oldsmobile home if you break, and I'll part out your truck as it sits in my shed. I'm yanking that tranny/converter out if the motor goes, and the nitrous kit/headers/boltons if the tranny goes, so either way.... I will leave the electric fan setup in there for you, though. Especially if you have another POS vsc in there.
