well, i got my exhaust setup fabbed up today over at Mr. Muffler in pierre part LA, 10 miles past the No Problem on hwy 70. All i can say is WOW! I love the sound of my Quickflow muffler setup, its a custom Y with a quickflow dumped before the axle. The guys their are *****N fantastic, I will try to get a sound clip asap.

BTW great prices too, a custom built Y-pipe with muffler installed 250.00

I cant get enough of their great customer service as well as product and price.

BTW anyone who wants one of the mufflers can contact the shop and he will send you one out if you cant get to his shop!

 

i like the quick flows but just a little to loud for me now that my son like to ride in the truck when it is running

 

well he is currently making one with some packing to give a quieter tone!

I used to love the way my true dual quick flows sounded. I had to get rid of them cause the cops were on my ***. Carson, Myron, and Mike are great people to work with. Glad you like them. Where are you from?

 

So tell me more about the quickflows and your setup. I just went to their website and listened to the sound of one on a 4.7 dakota and it sounded ******* mean. Are your running cats on your setup. And are they louder than open cutouts. Oh, and how about performance? I really don't want to loose power from a new setup, but truely want to get away from this true dual setup.

 

Pacesetters with a custom Y made by Carson with a single Quickflow Dumped right before the axle, my exhaust is loud but i like it! Quickflow mufflers actually increase HP, i have personally seen a .10 increase with a setup from them. The next run the guy ran his cutouts and actually lost some time, so they do work and they sound MEAN!

 

Well I went ahead and ordered one so we'll see. I like loud too so that won't be a problem. Nobody ever rides in the truck with me either. If the fiance and I ever go anywhere we take the Z71
