Damd man, I am sorry to see that. I had the SAME thing happen to my truck and I am still dealing with the body shop on fixing it. The only thing I can say is make sure you take it to a quality shop, that car is far to nice to skimp on.

Took it to a dealership and they say 3 days and just under $1000. I just have to convince myself to turn loose of it for a few days

Yes, insurance will cover the bill after I meet my deductible. That money could have been spent better elsewhere

Personally I would be scared to take that car anywhere to get fixed. I would be afraid that some idiot would take it out on a test drive and dog the crap out of it, just like the dealership did to my fathers truck... When he got it back the AVG MPG showed 12.5 (usually it was 18+) and his odometer had 55 extra miles on it. The reason it was in the shop what to fix the spare tire mechanism.... So be sure to right down your mileage before you drop it off.

Damn, Colby. That doesn't sound like much damage. $1000 bucks? I woulda figured way more than that. Is the insurance demanding that you take it to a dealership, you might want to run it to a reputable shop and get another opinion just for your own sake. Dealership paint shops are not known for the best work possible.
