Tigerfan hit it right on the head didnt he?
So how is everyone? I'm feeling for our fellow member from N.O., Chalmette, Slidell, and other Lousiana cites and those of you in gulf port, ms...
its a real mess over there... they say in N.O. that it will take 2 months for the water to drain from there. I cant imagine being there right now... the stench of that water must be hirendous. They found a dead shark in the french quarter yesterday and the hundreds upon hundreds of dead bodies, its terrible... that water must be about 25% gas by now... not much more to say about that. I dont see how that will ever be the same down there again... im praying that the nation pulls togetther to save the surviours and helps in the rebuild process.
I already donated some to the rest cross and turned over a lot of my old clothes... probably all we can do at this point.

So regardless of where it hits everyone is gonna pay more at the pump! Please say a prayer for us!

Hey guy's, I made it back to houma yesteday. Came back to a mess. Neighbors tree fell on one fence. Wind blew down the front fence. Ripe a cherry tree right out the ground and dont know were it went to. Knocked every damn pecan out of my pecan tree and it was full. I'll have to pick them up before i can even cut the grass. Cell phone doesn't work and just got back my land line. DSL isn't working (dial up sucks) Can't get gas because only a few stations have power and the lines are long. Had to drain the gas out of my boat to get gas for the generator. Have to sleep in the camper because it's too hot in the house. I can't complain because I just thank God i still have a house to come to. For the people that were not so lucky our prayers are with you. To the First United Methodist Church in Alexandria That gave us a place to park our camper and feed us, We give them thanks.

The situation in N.O. is horrible. I really feel for some of them and hope they can find places to stay. We never heard from the southern Miss. guys yet like Slowprocess, BigKID, and Ranwalk. Hope they are all OK.

Well, Ranwalk made a couple of post, so hopefully they just dont have the means to post yet. I still dont have power or cable at home yet, so all my posting is happening at work. Good luck to everyone else
