Default K&N & airbox mod =

4 tenths in the 1/4. i ran a 14.7@93 last night and the only change has been a drop in K&N and cut a hole in the bottom of the airbox.

im sure that the track condition, cooler weather and prep also had a factor in your change in time unless you did this mod last night at the track and made a run with the stock setup and then did your mod and ran again to compare times. Also check your 60ft etc. and compare to previous run because you may have hooked better on the second run which may have given you 2 tenths which means the mod may have only given you two as well. Regardless great job on the 4/10th knockoff!

Wow, are you sure the weather and track conditions were the same as the last time you ran? I may have to try the airbox mod now.

Bout 10*s difference, on his previous best he pretty much dead hooked, this time it would have been worse with teh added power. His wife did manage a half track burnout though last time

i think so myself, i really don't have that many mods. i think with a posi a 14.5 could be had.
