Default JPR Tool in H-Town

Doing a camswap in a few weeks and need to track one down. Anybody have one I could rent, buy, or borrow. TIA-

LOL, yea hopefully if everything works out. Have you used the cut in half dowel rod method? Haven't heard of anybody cutting them in half before. I wonder if I could mill off half of a 5/16 steel rod from Home depot?

dont need to mill it, he was refering to cut it in 2, 2ft peices. LOL

lol, gotcha. Missed the 4ft reference. Was actually thinking of a way to simulate the JPR tool by milling the notches in a steel rod to accomplish the same thing

20 something cam swaps . . . . so yeah they work great

. . . that and the the pulley install tool, no more baking and hammering it back on.

I've been doing cam swaps, and having the right tools makes all the difference in the world.

Yea I have everything but the damn JPR tool. I have the kent moore puller/installer, front seal installer, crane spring tool, etc... jus can't track down a JPR tool
