Default I've got it now,an 06 crewcab

Ok guys, first of all I did trade my 97 vortec 350 in for an 06 crew cab 2wd with a 5.3.I am still in shock and it did not really hit me until I got on the highway with the new truck,I miss my 97 so bad already.
I can not beleive how much they gave me for it but they did. They gave me 7 grand for that truck which my jaw dropped.
I love this new truck so much do not get me wrong but that 97 will always be in my heart as I already can feel the pain in giving it up.
All in all,I am very happy with my new 06 crew cab,it is very nice and runs good.Although those freaking gears in that rearend are not gonna be in there long, trust me those are goin first as they are not gonna cut it.This truck has ALOT of potential to run really hard and it will get there of course, there is no way I am gonna be able to leave this bad boy alone.
Nitrous, well I am holding off on that for alittle bit but it will be on there one day,my wife would rather me not put it on there so I am gonna go ahead and hold off on it for a bit.It will be running hard N/A soon.
You never know though,I always told myself if I ever got a new truck then it would have an STS on it,so we will see.
I love this 06 and I am glad I did it but I will always miss my 97 and love it.
It was VERY hard to give the 97 up,but I did and I know this one will be close to me as much soon.
Later guys
Charlie
Oh yeah,I already tuned to the night it came home, that thing really needed it BAD and it runs so much damn better now.

yeah it is hard man,it was really hard, especially since my dad had it for 5 years and then I had it for 4 years,it had a good history with us and that was hard to give up.
I am enjoying this 06 more and more everyday i drive it though.I am taking it easy right now as it is brand new and gonna give it some timing before I goin nuts with it.
the only ting I am not enjoying are these fraking payments, that is the nly thing that sucks about it.LOL

Man, I had to hear about the new truck through Thunder and Brandon at his house Friday. I still cannot believe you got rid of the 97 man. Congrats though, your gonna love the new one, but still.

So when do I get to see the beast? I am still needing to get over there and have you re-tune the truck and add a few idle RPM's. Let me know Charlie.

Get some damn pics up.

I know a local guy that can give a good deal on a gear install.

BTW, I hear you on giving up the 97. I have a 95 that I will never part with, its like a son to me.
