update.

wind is strong off the lake, i would say a steady 50 - 55 miles an hour.
right now the wind is out of the north, as the eye gets closer it will change to from the east.
water is now compleatly over the lower park section where the boat ramp is.
i would say since the last post it has rise 2 to 2 1/2 feet.
rain comes and gos.

30-40mph winds where I am..no rain yet. Looks like my area is gonna catch the beast end of the storm. Predicting 70+mph winds for 12 hours here.

Well i'm here watching, 15 miles north of my house at ground zero, will try and get home tomorrow at lunch to check it out, brought 2 chain saws and 1 gallon of mix to make sure I can get home heehe, 1 case of Dr. Pepper for me and 2 Cases of water for the dogs ahhaa.

update.
still have power, winds got pretty strong, now they have slacked off.
curfew is in effect so i cannot check to see how high the water is now.
so far no heavy down pour, just light rain flying sideways.

news says my area is to be hit with almost 20 - 25 foot storm surge between
4am and 8am in the morning.
will post more later if i have power.
