With the SLOW paced home improvements I've been working on, more improvements warranted storage space. So... something had to go. Next on the chopping block is a motorscooter that needs a new battery and pedcock. Fun little 35mph scooter that might be worth a Craigslist sale.

Once Casey gets his trans converted to be a truck trans, the rest of my "spare" parts are goin' bye bye. Even I'm tired of crossover crap in there. Going to be working on shelving that space, and adding a custom workbench. But... the crap's gotta go FIRST.

Driving on the interstate. Never had one go quite like this one. I got on the interstate, I noticed I never felt the converter lock up. I was rolling about 75 or so at about 2300rpm, tapped the gas watching the rpms, next thing I knew it was taking 3500rpm to maintain 75. Stopped on the way to work and caught a ride with a friend, on the way home it retired completely.

At least u have a sense of humor bout it all. On my 89 I went thru some blowin up of trannies & all rear was prolly to fault since it took out a built tranny once. Heck, it may've lead to the 1st time. All I know is, on the 04, before i put a Radix in...FLT is going in before my already weak 60e goes out. And from reading PT, I should upgrade rearend as well. Some even say a better driveshaft. Never ending.

Knowing what Ive learned, if I was to build another (wich I would love to) I would have a FLT, Vig, and Detroit before I touched anything other than a tune.
It sucks to have your day ruined because of something you already know is weak breaking
