man is it me or are people driving like crap lately. almost had 4 wrecks in 1 hour due to people running stop signs and pulling out in front of me. then i get the stare from them like i was wrong or something. all the while i am wearing the mess out of my brakes to avoid hitting them. what gives.

oh yea, it's getting to the point that i want to get out and beat the **** out of the next person that does it. even if its granny.

 

Yup, you and I both. You are right about people and their poor driving skills, especially the folks w/ cell phones. Just the other day I was driving down this four lane road, two lanes in each direction, and a person was turning left in the left lane. At the same time a woman in an Impala was beside me and I guess to keep from slowing down the started creeping very close to the truck. Luckily I slammed on the brakes and she went on about her business in my lane. Dumb@$$.

I read a couple articles a while ago (can't remember what happened to them, or where they are now). But, basically it talked about how a very large percent of everyday drivers couldn't pass the basic driver's test. The other article talked about people's reaction time while talking on cell phones, if I remember correctly a 20-30 year old talking on a cell phone has the reaction time of a 70 year old.

 

i believe the cell phone reaction time thing. i see this one truck in particular everyday. i think in the morning i am gonna go give him some grief.

I hear ya, I usually get off work at 4:30 every day but this week we have been working 10 hour shifts, so I have been getting off at 5:30 and what a difference. All the ******** and idiots are out on the road at that time.

I notice EVERYTIME there's a holiday near, people get retarded!! Today, I almost smashed the $hit out of this idiot that made a left turn in front of me. I was in my Z71, which has a full front end replacement, and I didn't even try to hit the brakes or slow down! I get so tired of morons, that I don't give a damn. I feel sorry for the other person when I run into them.
