i am very upset. this all started about two months ago. my driverside window got busted out, had the window replaced, then took the truck to get all the windows retinted so they would match. i told the guy to use 5% charcoal tint. truck gets done, and it is a little lighter than 5% and NOT charcoal. no big deal, it still looked good. the guy told me to give the tint a couple of days to cure and the fogginess will go away. well, 2 months later, the tint is still foggy, so i go back and tell them the story and the guy says he will replace it for free. i told the guy i want the darker CHARCOAL tint this time, he said it will be $30 extra for the upgraded tint. so i pay the difference, go outside to get in my truck, and i thought i was looking in a F#$king mirror!! i go inside and calmly tell the same guy the situation, and he says that is the upgraded tint. he then walks outside to look at it and says it is reflective because of the darkness and there is nothing he can do. i argued with him for a breif moment about this and left because i was getting very mad sorry for the long story

 

Sounds like he either dosnt know what he is talking about or just giving you whatever he has off his rolls of tint then blowing smoke up your ***. A friend of mine has shaded chrome tint on his silver GTP. Looks good, but its not for every vehicle.

 

pm me if you want a cheap place to do tint...I know a guy he did my ex cab 5% all the way around with 20% on the front windshield all for $110

 

Go to a better shop, they have no idea what they're doing.

HEHE... i got my back 3 windows 5% and my Driver and Passenger side windows tinted 35% for $52....

That sucks man...

 

HAHA, you sound like I do when I'm dealing with problems. Call the Better buissness bureau and file a complaint.

I had to go over three times with a guy about what I wanted. I wanted 20 upfront, and 5 in the rear, and he started out backwards. I finally had to go out and point to a car, and say "just like this."
