..... And being broke! Well, took my truck to the track for the first time last night What a shitty night! The best I ran was a 14.93 at 91mph with a 2.20 60ft. That was leaving the line at 3/4 throttle! If I would take off full throttle I would spin at least the first 60', forget trying to stall it. I have 285/60/17 Toyo Proxes s/t's but I took them off because I dont have the money to replace them right now! I figured I would be ok by putting my old 285/75/16's on. WRONG!!!!! I even let the psi out to 25 and they would almost hook, but I need to replace my collector gaskets, after a couple of runs it started to back fire real bad! I got under there and my collecters were just puffin along to me! All that work for 3/10th of a second!

 

well time to get some slicks and you will see a big diff. good luck.

not to sound like a dick but learn how to drive your truck. you can pedal tha truck out of the hole on street tires. with the times you ran your no where in need of slicks. youre in need of becoming one with the truck

 

yeah, I understand that. That was the first time out with my mods. but thats not the only reason I wont be runnin though. I need a new set of plug wires b/c my brother ripped one apart, and also tourqed one of my flange bolts in half and ripped the gasket. So I have to get 80 bucks or so and get that fixed.
