She appologized for over reacting and everything is good now, and from the sounds of things, he might be getting lucky as we speak

 

I read the whole thing and anyone can over-react about anything, but damn, sounds like it was WAY overblown, the guy was just trying to do the right thing, not everyone knows exactly how to go about these things and he obviously wanted to get it right, and gets raked over the coals for it. Then he buys flowers to appologize for something that should have been a non-issue. I'm glad it all worked out, but damn.

I guess I'm just lucky that I wound up with the wife that I did.

 

Ok, like I have said several times before, it was not that bad at all... I exagerated the event to make it funny, I even orgainzed the first post to make it funny... I bought flowers for our annivesary not for an apology... My GF is great, she is one of the nicest people you will ever meet, not to mention she is the most thoughtful... She has never bitched at me or even raised her voice to me EVER!!! Cause we never really have any problems worth fighting about... She likes it when I work on my truck and when I help people with their trucks, go to the track, etc... Some funny things about her, once we saw a horse trailer parked in a parking lot on a hot day and she went and got water for the horses... She is an amazing person, and I would not trade her for anything...

 

Maybe I was just having flashbacks of my EX-Wife because the way you exaggerated the scenario seemed like something she would have done. LOL.

Either way, like I said, glad things are all good with you guys. My current wife is the same way, we never get into it and she accepts all my hobbies. Wouldn't trade her for the world.

 

Yeh kinda gave me flash back of my ex too. I saved up money, sold off my collectables, and extra truck to buy her engagement ring. After a year she said she wanted something different. I should have woke up then. 6 months after getting married we were done.

I am now married to a great woman. She likes the fact that I help out other people with their vehicles and she even helps sometimes. She finds my screw ups such as yours funny, of course she has to make fun of my about them. She likes my hobbies, because she knows it keeps me out of trouble, and that I am usually never more then a few steps away when I am working on my toys. She even likes to go off roading with me.

When you find the right one there is nothing like it. We have been married 2 years and have only had 4 arguements since we met, and those were trivial that we wound up laughing about, within minutes. We have 2 wonderful daughters, like I said wouldn't trade it for anything. When it's right, it's right. Good luck to you and remeber one thing, " Yes ma'am, I am sorry, I am only a man, I will try to do better" will get you out of alot of trouble.
