My Completely AWESOME DAY!!!!!

Well me and my girlfriend have been talking about getting married for about a year now and this week is our 3 year anniversary, so I thought it would be a good idea to go ring shopping... I thought it would be a nice surprise!!!

But NO!!!!!

Background:
I have been really busy and work, basically non stop from the moment I get there until I sneak out... Not to mention one of the contracts I manage, military aircraft sale to Pakistan, is in kinda trouble (if you haven't seen the news lately we are not playing so well together)... Then pile on the fact of working on my own truck, helping others, etc, etc.... So I have been kinda stressed... Oh and shows on TV nowadays suck too....

The Screw-up:
Well my girlfriend always sends me an email when she is at lunch asking how my day went, and blah blah blah... So me in my infinite wisdom decided to ask her to go ring shopping this weekend in an email... Awesome, right!!!

The Phone call:
Me being the Supreme Dumba** that I am, was actually looking foward to my girlfriend calling me after work saying how excited she was, But NO!!! I get sumpremely bitched at for making the entire event very unpersonal resembling a business transaction.... Once again me being at the Pinacle Dumba**ness i did not quite understand....

Putting it a way that I can understand
After about an hour of argueing about the Awesome Choice i made, and me still not understanding, remember I am a Lord Sumpreme Dumba** she put it in terms that I could understand... She said, what if I decided to buy you a corvette, and rather than surprising you by driving to a dealership and saying "Pick anyone you want, here is a blank check", instead of that I just put in on a sticky note attached to your toothbrush and let you read it in the morning by yourself... Remember if being a dumba** was a religion I would be the POPE, so you kinda have to put things simple for me, what she said I understood and felt really really retarded for sending the email... (Fat lady singing in the background....)

The apology....
So I threwly apologized, and now I am waiting for the my Lord of the Idiots Crown to be delivered, not to mention dusting of the Credit Card to make this one up to her....

Never ask your soon to be wife to go ring shopping via email.... No matter how good of an idea you think it might be.....

That really sucks, its a whole different game for women. we just have to hope we can please them. good luck

 

Well I was just mainly wanting to know what she wanted, size, cut diamond setting, etc.... I have no clue about that stuff, and the last thing I wanted was for her to be wearing a ugly ring for eternity.... I was not planning on poping the big question then... I actually have/had that planned out... However Ike, kinda killed that one.... I was planning on taking a trip down to the coast and asking her on the beach, since she loves hearing waves crashing on the beach....

 

I am not even worthy of idiot, all I getted called is *******. Dont try to understand them, just go with the flow and whatever you do, dont laugh at them when they are pissed, trust me. You are going about it the right way, buying them something or taking them shopping will always make them forget.
