I am completely phucked... trans guys please come in

well... I have been thrashing on the truck for the past 5 days or so since I got back to TX to get it ready for the GTG and I had everything wrapped up last night (pretty much) .... my list for one week was
N2O
window switch, purge, heater
new tune
LT's
new exhaust system from headers back
new tires mounted up
new shocks from TX
traction bars
shift kit
servos
some small cosmetic stuff
and other small misc stuff under the hood.
I got ALL of it done in about 5 days and last night at about 9:30 when I took the truck down from putting in the shift kit, servo, sep plate, and accumulator. I was ready to fire it up and drive it a little. I cranked the truck after filling it with fluid, let it circulate in the trans and topped it off again and got in the truck to put it in gear and.... you guessed it... nothing. the truck didnt move. I revved it a little and it felt like it was trying to engage and it finally did in reverse. I backed down the driveway and put it in drive and it did the same thing. I kind of figured it was maybe a little excess vaseline in there from me sticking the check ***** to the valve body and it would work loose. so I pulled out onto the street and tried to accelerate slowly and it reved up real high and accelerated real slow... it was slipping BAD
and it never would shift out of first ... if any of you are very familiar with the HD2 kit PLEASE let me know if you can help me out and diagnose this thing. I have a feeling it is something small but I dont really want to fork up the cash to take it to the shop after spending a solid day under it.
-and the worst part is, there's no way for me to make it to the GTG. the truck is dead in the water right now...
-any help?????

Did you let the trans warm up completly? Mind did some funky stuff right after installing the transgo but went away on its own after several cycles of driving it which I chalked up to trash/unmelted vasoline sticking a valve or two open.
