well I finally had a chance to go to the track and try my 28" tires..

my previous best with the 26's (spinning) is:

7.951 @ 85.61
12.577 @ 105.84


well today I did 10 passes on the 28's and they all were 12.5x!! every single one of them damn I tried so hard to get a 12.4 pass but it just wont do it I tried stalling it all the way to ~2600 and even just taking off from idle and it still got a 12.5x and they were all 1.68 and 1.69 60fts..

this was the best one of the night.

by the way the 28's feel damn good and takes off hard off the line..

 

Nice times...is that stock suspension or caltracs?..1.6x 60's is getting down there, especially since your ex cab and still n/a!!! Glad to here the 28s are working. Just put the injectors and 100 jets back in

 

Just let me drive it for ya lol, good runs for sure ap, have fun and see ya in about a month from now.

 

Yeah AP.. do the driver mod.. I think it was worth .2 on your last engine. Nevertheless, those are awesome times.

Did you try adjusting the air pressure in them? Or possibly adding air to the front tires?

 

Damn good times and SOLID 60' times also...
