i'm real worried about all those MS guys. gulfport and biloxi are in shambles. somebody over there, or anyone who may have talked to them, post up. i tried calling both kenny (BigKID) and randy(ranwalk) today but got no answer.
we're not too bad off over here in LA, mostly just inconvienced by lack of electricity (until tonite) and all those idiots from N.O. coming this way.
i know there a few members on this site that are a little farther south than me, but i didn't know too many of them personally. i just hope they made it out before the water came in.

We made out alright. Just don't have power yet. Just got back phone service yesterday. Cell phones still don't work and only a few gas station with gas and very long lines. I have to take gas out of my boat for my generator. Our prayers are with you guy's that weren't so lucky.

Horrible news: Evacuees from N.O. have been looting (stealing from businesses that are shut down and flooded or whatever) and also shooting rescuers for taking too long and trying to steal their boats. The governor stated on live TV, as of last night there will be a zero tolerance policy. Armed forces were brought in with MK16's(i think) locked and loaded and will not hesitate to shoot anyone caught looting or wrong doing.
I understand that these people have nothing left to lose, but at least could remain decent, honest, and normal human beings. There has been rumors of the evacuees that have been sent to BR have been carjacking and also breaking into houses.
Please everyone be careful.

yeah using a cellphone here in the gonzales area (right b/n NO and BR) is pretty much a hopeless cause. however, most of the rumors we're hearing about people stealing and riots and whatnot are just that, RUMORS. but its still annoying having to wait in line for gas, and thats IF you can find 93

ya.. its all true.. the gangs think they are going to take over the city. I hope the rescuers come out with their lives and save as many as they can. Some of them seem like they dont want to be saved.
