Default How would you go about this?

Ok fellas, I need your advise. Superchevy00 was in the search for some LT's and found some really cheap non-coated ones. He then found some coated ones for a very fair price (on here) and picked those up instead. I went ahead and followed the link he posted and emailed the guy with the non-coated set to see if he still had them. Been back and fourth with him trying to get a total (shipping costs) and he replied asking me to send him a money order. Now I would really like to be faithful and trust he'll send them when he recieves my money order. My question is, What would you guys do to better insure this? He doesn't have a paypal so thats out of the question. I was thinking of sending the money order through certified mail but not sure how that would help. Superchevy00 found them on craiglist if that helps any. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Sometimes there is a risk involved. I wouldn't ship a part to a stranger until I had received payment so his request does not strike me as unusual. Do you know anybody who lives in the seller's area, maybe another member here can check it out?

I can't think of anyway to insure that you don't get ripped-off.

sounds like a scam to me. The lower the price, the easier it is to sucker someone into trying to buy it.

Besides, are non-coated Pacesetters pretty damn cheap already

Where is the seller located, is he anywhere within reason of a drivable distance? There are lots of ways to fish out scammers is thats what it is. Usually if you start asking too many questions or offer to meet up or drive to them, they'll quit contacting you.

Yes they are but they are not $150 shipped cheap. He's from Sherman, TX so its not that far but it would probably be cheaper and less of a hassle to order them from one of the sponsors than to drive up for them. Thanks for all the input guys. I'll sleep on it a bit longer.
