Got back from a ride after retorqueing the rockers and the tick is back and loud. I dont know what the hell is up. I wish there was some way to test lifters. None of the rockers when I went ot adjust them were loose but I pulled them off anyway loc tite and the torqued them back down. Im going to pull the d-side valve cover cause I think its coming from that side retorque them all and go for a run again. Im just going to carry all my tools with me from now on. Gotta go visit allen tomorrow night this damn truck needs ot line out. Im almost to point where I dont care and run it till it blows something.

Well there wont be a new converter in my truck for the gtg A little disapointed but hell i dont have time so im thinking ill just wait but i went and got the tranny flushed the other day and i figure i want to get the verter in while the fluid is still fresh. Oh well. My cam should be getting here next week so..... 
hehe. I might just stick the slicks on and run like that. All i think i can really hope for in this weather with the slicks is the same time as i ran in good weather last time. So once again im in a pickle. Thanks for reading this rant/bitching session! grrrrrr.....

I got new exhaust manifold gaskets to throw on today but it definately is not a leak its a metallic noise either a lifter, or a rocker is toast.
Anybody have a set of stock rockers laying around?
