got a question:

when allen tuned my truck earlier this week I was still on the stock tranny, and my 2-3shifts were at 89mph.... now after the built tranny my 2-3 shift are @ 86mph?? yesterday after I picked it up from the tranny shop it was shifting 2-3shift @ 84mph... today I been doggin the **** out of it and now 2-3shift are at 86mph... is it just that the tranny needs to be broken in more?? seems like mph are slowly going up... I cant tell on on the rpm side cause my rpm gauge is only up to 6k dont get me wrong, truck feels a WHOLE LOT stronger than before, I guess I've just been looking at the speedo too much!! and I did tell him to tune it for a built tranny so I dont know... but I will make another trip to SA if I have to before next weekend...

 

uuuuummmmm they were shifting at 89 now with the built trans its only going to 86 seems like its shifting out sooner not later, man they must of put the gears in wrong when they did your trans, now your speedo will never work right and the tune can't help you either. Damn, back street mechanics.

Thats wierd when I still had my cammed 5.3 I was shifting out of 2nd at 100mph thats with 31" tires though.

 

I got 4.10's now....
