We will have to see about that. Thats my goal for this summer.

 

by the way, I went to the dealership and purchased the "vortec MAX" engine cover... they were out of them but they told me to go pick it up tomorrow... only $27..

 

What are you going to do with your old escalade center cover or did you just have the stock one on there?

Is it the escalade one or the stocker? I may be interested in it. I need another cover to send to Fogle to get painted for new motor that Im almost positive I will be building since the oil consumption problem hasnt been solved by the PCV valve swap. I am almost positive it is either one of those **** JE rings that i ****** cracked or the thrust bearing. Can we say 434

 

its either the one on the escalade or then one on the SS, but yeah I still have it....

Yea, till you put a cam, or 6l or bigger in it then they are good for about 5 miles then
