What are the hangout spots in Houston? I know there is a 45 minute drive to the beach from UTIs campus, but where do yall normally hang out?

 

Softball field.... wait that's not a hang out, I actually do something when I'm there.

Friday nights most hop over to HRP (Houston Raceway Park) to push for the single digits.

Saturday night it could be the Kemah Car Meet, which is by the Kemah Target. You can't miss it.

Lucky.. I haven't been able to play since before the hurricane.. They canceled the rest of or season, now I have to wait for the spring league....

 

I don't know what beach, but thats what the guy that interviewed me said. About an hour drive to the beach, but with me driving...45 minutes.

I can't wait to start at UTI, June 22nd is my first day!

 

Sorry but UTI is in the Woodlands and to Galveston it's the better part of and hour or more b/c of traffic. I suggest that you NOT go to the Island, still not safe, and there's an infestation of flies b/c of all the garbage.
