Default horrible ford....

ok our new 05 F-350 dually 4x4 6L PSD went in the shop AGAIN.
I think this is the 7th time? in 2.5 months.
This time they found metal particles in the oil pan...
Previously:
Replaced all Injectors with in 3 trips to the shop
burnt Turbo
EGR problems 4 times
EGR cooler 2 times
and now metal in the oil pan...

so far the warranty work has covered $15k worth of work..
Everyone has lost faith in this truck.. we can no longer take it out on Field Service runs because we are scared its goin to break down..

Either its goin straight to the Chevy dealership to get traded or its goin to try to behave one more time before it gets traded in?!?!
I dont see a problem if it had bout 300k miles.. but this thing only has 62,000 miles on the odo....
PROBLEMS!!!!

what were the symptoms? or did you just find metal particles doing regular maintenance?

it has been overheating for some time now.. so we took it in and told them what all it had been doin.. and they come into a problem. so for some reason the dropped the oil pan and found a mess... so who knows what they are goin to do now..
we are waitin to go pick it up.. and get the paper work, to see what all they did.

That sucks bro, I would think that it will fall under the lemon law and you should get a new one!

believe me you ain't the first or last to have those problems. i've had some customers that would want to get dyno tested just to prove that they lost power b/c they are goin through legal problems.

did you know when you go back to the dealer w/ a problem they reflash you ecu and reduce the power just to get you through warranty!!!
