Default Hmmmmm. What to do

Well the phantom is totaled. If I sell it to geico, I'll pocket a hair over $6000. I can buy it back for $1600. There doesn't seem to be much damage, but vinces transmissions are scared of fires, so it'll need to be rebuilt. The truck also needs a few little maitenance items taken care of. I would say the hell with it, but I need a 4wd for hunting season. I'm sure I could find a suitable replacement for $6k, but I took a small loan against it so I'll wind up about $4k if I do get rid of it, and I'm not sure I can replace it for that. I know at a minimum the tranny needs to be rebuilt but as far as I can tell, that's it other than some cosmetic things.

What would y'all do?

Well Brads did some shopping. Right now it looks like I cant replace it for what they are offering me, not even within a couple of grand. Im gonna try and get some more out of them. Im gonna keep the phantom, but Ill have to do a little looking before I decide if Im gonna put her back on the road. I feel pretty confident I can sell engine, headers, FLT, rear and some other things for $1600. Talked to someone about the tranny today, seems its more likely an electrical problem, than a mechanical one.
