What kind ya got and how much was it. What do you recommend?

I have a Visailia Safe Co., safe. . Costco had a great deal going lately on safes too. Don't cheap out on the safe.

I broke down and bought a Liberty Franklin 50 ,I got it at Randys pawn in Trenton Georgia it was 1610.00 after a 100$ mail in rebate. The 50 is the biggest Liberty makes it weighs 1100 pounds, a bitch to move. I should never outgrow it.

 

how many guns does it hold?

unless you are retirement age now, you should out grow it. a man can never have enough guns, especially the way the laws are now and will be in the near future. get what you can while you can still get them!!!

unless its a 100 gun or more, you need more guns....

100 is the mark? I think not. No safe can hold enough....you have to take your spare room, line it with steel sheet and 3/4" sheetrock and put a nice vault type door. I have seen some awesome vault rooms bigger than my apartment.

 

Your right I will fill it up,it holds 41 long guns.Right now I only have 3 long guns and 6 pistols,yeah I'm more of a pistol type.I like probably 25 years b4 I can retire so yeh It will be full.I have been eyeing a 50 bmg but they are way out of my price range,but one day I will have one.

 

trever1t, i cant say that i know of a gun safe that holds over 100 long guns. now if you are going to go custom, that is all together different.

if i ever get to build my own house, it will have a room that looks like a spare bedroom from the outside, but be a rather large gun room.
