Default Gotta make this thing quieter....

Right now, I'm running Pace LT's, dual 3" flowtech cutouts (manual), Pace ORY, 24" resonator dumped in front of the axle... it sounds pretty good and all that but the noise is seriously getting on my nerves... **** rattles off my console and on the hwy with these gears its abonxious, around town with this stall, no thanks...

I dont want to turn it into a "which muffler is best" thread but what have some of you guys done to quiet your exhausts down on a cammed truck...

I was thinking about just taking it over the axle and dumping it and putting in another resonator... a friend of mine gave me his SLP LM1 resonator this weekend to try out... do you think this will make any kind significant of difference??

Mine was the same way..
take it out the back, and also put an X-pipe in it.. it will make a world of diffrence in how loud it is in the cab.

I have single exhaust... maybe adding some length and another resonator will be what I need...

Im running a similar setup but i went from the y pipe and put a hooker aerochamber and had it dumped after the axle. Its very nice on the highway and you can still tell its nasty.

Hooker dumped after axle. It dies at the end but that is fixed now.

mine is way to raspy so im going to put a dynomax bullet in front of it and that should quiet up real good. And it only costs 40.00 bucks.

The bullet in front of the muffler really helps. Thats how my other setup is.
