Being a GM parts guy at a dealer isn't bad, I've been doing it for a living for quite a while now. It has many perks.

Damn that sux. I got fired from my job designing and building custom interiors for personal jets with no notice or reason right before christmas. I had the same confidentiality thing too. What sucked is it took me over a month to find another job. At least I got some incometax money in to help out.

In the end, the job I have now pays WAY more than I though I would make. I make more now in a month than I did in 3 months at that other job. Trust me, better things come along. I was actualy happy when they fired me, it was a BS job.

There are job openings here very similar to that for BE Aerospace. I'm reluctant to apply now that you've said designing airplane interiors is BS.

I worked for enflite, a company that designes lifts, tables, doors, monitors, and a few other things. They are the lowest paying place for the position out there. They want someone with a passport, 4 year degree in electronics, A&P liscence, 5 years experience in professional aviation, neat professional appearance, use your own cell phone for company with no reimbersment, travel expences were paid exept for food, and the list goes on and on. Well all that was for an awesome $35,000 a year salary with no overtime for travel, and even if I worked 60 hours in a week they would deduct pay from my salary if I took half a day off due to being sick or having a doctors app. As soon as I told them if I didnt get my money for those half days or I was going to turn them into the workforce commision, I got fired 2 days later with no notice.

Thats why I didnt care too much, I knew it was a BS company. Besides, $140k is much better, and I would never have found this job if I wasnt fired from that one.
