yeah yeah, I used to have an 01 supercrew f-150 with the triton 5.4, I got walked all over by a single cab chevy, but that truck took everything I could put it through.

Have you guys ever watched the real truck pulls. The ones where guys take every make and model from older 4 door fords to newer explorers, rangers, and different chevys, put them on military axles, put big engines in them, add tractor tires and weights to the front, tie them together and let em rip. Its a balancing act of putting the power to the pavement without pulling the front tires off the ground. Once it starts bucking its all over. Hella fun to watch.

 

Seems like a good way to F-up a new truck. Whoever is getting yanked backwards better keep them spinning or lock the brakes up (which may not even be possible with ABS), I can't imagine what that would do to your tranny, but it wouldn't be cheap.

 

haha... i entered my 96 f-150 in the truck pull on year at our local expo building... almost pulled the thing out the door!!! haha needless to say i was in the stock class but i saw no chevy or dodge pull it further than i did!!! got 3rd place to two f-250's!!!
