Default Going in for the cage Friday

Well, the car hauler is coming to get the truck Friday, then its off to start on the cage. I'm still up in the air about how we're going to do it(either just the door bars and loop, or fab up an entire cage.) I'd feel a ton safer with a full setup, but its going to be a bitch with the dash design in these trucks.

I'd think Parish runs a full cage so you might ask for pics from him.

the truth is, he isn't going to be racing the truck on the track much more. his new hobby is demo derby. so he needs a cage to participate. also, in demo derby, he doesn't need 3rd or 4th gear. so it saves him money by going this route. now he won't have to get his tranny fixed and can do a sport that requires only two forward gears.

That's good stuff!!!! It was funny as hell riding through town on the back of the car hauler with all the lights on the hauler on. I guess now everybody in town thinks my truck was repoed. Well, its at the shop now, so its a go.

BTW.....if this bastard truck doesn't act right after everything is done.....I'm going with the derby idea.
