I am confused though. You hooked pretty good at a decent rpm and didn't get sideways. You told us that if all of that would happen you would run a mid/high 12. You only have to knock off about 7 more tenths and you'll have a high 12. What's it going to take? Trans brake? Hoosier tires? NAWZ? You name it and I want to hook you up with it.......just so there will be no excuses when the truck gets back together.

Many ls1's are capable of running high 12's out of the box u know that, especially with something simple as a lid and exhaust. I never promised anyone i'd dip in the 12's , i said it was very possible under the right conditions. I didn't get sideways down the track but that doesn't mean i wasn't spinning. And i'm very satisfied with the time i ran under the circumstances we were under. Hell the title of this post is "I'm glad nobody died at the track!!!"

I guess its a crime to have positive thinking when it comes to referring to what time u want to get ..... I guess if u said u want ur truck would dip in the 10s then ran an 11.6 in greenville i could rip u???

actually no, i wouldn't. I've never beat somebody then got on the board and bragged about it, especially when it was against someone who let out of it after first gear due to traction problems in the left lane. I got the light on daniel but nobody probably knows it b/c it was barely mentioned

My truck will not run a 10 this year. I have nowhere near the setup to run a 10. My goals for this year are surely not to run 10s. I'm gunning for mid 11s, but anything less would be great. Nobody knows how slow my truck really is. I've only spoken about what I want people to know about. You don't honestly think I tell everyone everything I've got going on, do you? I'm not that dumb.

As for the track.......I guess its like anything else. Excuses are extremely easy to lean on. Kinda like when you strike out in baseball...oh, the sun was in my eyes, I had dirt in them, it wasn't my same bat, etc.........Regardless of the situation, the pitcher still gets the strike out and you still get a lower batting average. That's just the way it works. Ricers are supposed to make excuses, not the fastest fbody in the delta.

Everytime we're all grouped up, all I hear about is how fast yours and dannie poo's cars are. You guys only talk about each others cars, and act like the TA and my SS are just complete dogs that should be left out of the conversation. I tell you what.......let's do this. The two auto's vs the two M6s tonight. Tell dannie poo he's been called out as well and we'll see how the 4 cars compare to each other in the 1/4. You game? 4 races winners take all, and we'll throw in some money for the winners to split. Sound good?
