Default Gear Selector Problems and funny noise.HELP!!!!

Ok i got the truck back from the drivetrain shop today. I didn't have time to mess with it and i need my second truck so the GF can drive one cause her tranny went byebye in the mazda.
Anyway i had them replace my cracked flexplate, instal a new 3200yank converter and instal some 3.73gears.

Anyway i didn't notice until after they were closed and i was a decent ways away that my gear selector does not go into park. I put it in park and it rolls like neutral except it won't start and like i said...no park.???

How hard is it to fix this cause the shop isn't open on weekends and i'd like to have the truck driveable.

Second i have been having some issues with noise from my leafs but now i noticed today at low speeds like say 10ish while letting it idle cruise...i can sometimes hear a ringing type of noise. Not the normal crazy sounds from the leafs....plus they normally make noise form loading them then they won't stop until i let off the gas even if i am at a steady speed.
Would you guess the ringing type noise is a problem with the truck or just the leafs making more strange noises?
I can't feel anything bind but i'm worried anyway.

Thrid how many teeth are on a 3.73 gear set? My 3.42 gears look just like the 3.73's did?????

How long should it take to throw a code as well? From a 3.42 gear to bumpped up 3.73 swap?
They did the 3.73 swap but i drove it about 20miles home and never got a code......plus the speedo/rpms seems about the same as they did before?

I need some ideas/help so what you guys got?

Finally i gave it some gas a few times...by gas i mean 1/4 pedal up to maybe 1/2 at best.
Around 4k rpms it breaks the 20's loose till it shifts at about 5200rpms...shifts rolls a mean second then is gone. This is all at 1/2 pedal or less.
Traction will be a problem nowadays....

hey did you check the cable at the trans to make sure it is in the bracket all the way and the end of it is snapped on all the way were it connects to the trans. Not sure about the noise tho. Well at least you still have the tires for the track right? those poor 20's.

Can't help with the Park indicator but you can try finding neutral and start it from there. It definitely has something to do with the cable. The ringing sounds like the drive shaft rubbing on something. Check to see if it's touching on any brackets.

Glad to see it'll blow the 20's off without much problem.

Good luck.

Yeah the twentys before hung on pretty good so long as i eased the peddle to the floor then i would chirp second on the shift. Now 1/2 or less and it starts a nice smoke show haha.
I have not got under the truck to check the boot or anything yet it was too hot aka motor and such...exhaust has burned me enough times already lol. So i'll look at it all tomorrow.
Not sure on the d-shaft. I'll jack up the back end and let the gf allow it to idle in drive and i'll watch everything to see if i can spot anything.
