You know damn well it's not just because "he likes flying it." Being patriotic isn't a "more is better" type of issue. The guy could have very easily flown a good sized flag and people would having liked it.

I don't know if I'd go as far as to tell him to remove it, but it's pretty obvious(to me at least) that it's not just because "he loves America." You don't just go out and buy a 30'x60' flag and put it in front of your business because you simply love America. Why isn't he flying that flag in front of his home?

Of course it attracts attention to his business, that's a fact but he should be able to fly any sized flag he wants. People should complain about a noisy freeway and see if it gets shut down

I agree that he has a right to keep it up, but the guy obviously is doing it to sell trucks. What cracks me up is that when people call him out on it, he gets all indignant, and acts like a 30'x60' flag was neccessary to show his "patriotism"

Yeah, because that is how I select my dealerships when car shopping: by the size of their American flag....

It's not to sell trucks, it's to set his dealership apart or attract attention from the near by road, which is perfectly legal. The day a limit is set on how big the American flag can be will be a sad sad day. Again, I ask if the flapping noise bothers people so much, why don't they petition to have the neighboring freeway closed?

He should be able to fly whatever size flag he wants, it's his property. If you don't like it, don't put one on your property it's as simple as that.

And how can you hate the sound of a flag flapping? It's kinda like rain hitting a metal roof, it's peaceful.
