Thumbs up finally!

i got my tranny in today and its running good had a couple screw ups but came out great... ill get some pics up of my busted case and bondo pullin my truck

cool, did you ever figure out what caused the casing to fail?

Installed the servo wrong and pressure cracked it. I saw the housing last night, and it wasn't pretty!!!! I was expecting a little crack, but DAMN.

Glad to see its back up. Now you ******** have to come over and lend me a hand Sunday ripping mine out.

installed it backwards or something? how did you do it "wrong"?

There's two pieces to it that you can but in backwards. One is noticeably backwards, the other not so noticeable. They got the one not noticeable wrong and BAM......

I think I have mine right...I was going by the transgo instructions - but they pictured the stock servo, it resembles the vette servo a little I guess.

You'll be ok. Bondo had installed one and had some instructions in front of him. They went alittle too fast on the second install and didn't use the instructions.

This Sunday?? Which vechicle? Or Are we pulling one out of one and pulling the SS's tranny back a little and sliding a little something somethin in to replace the stock one?

Naw, going to send it back to TCI first and let them go through it. I'm not completely convinced it wasn't the converter that ultimately failed first. I'm talking about ripping the one out of the truck and getting it sent off for the repair.
