HOLY SH*T!! That cop was just a d*ck! I mean the "operating an off highway vehicle on a public highway" would've covered a lot of those other violations. I bet his personal car is an 81 honda accord, so anytime he sees someone enjoying something they spent a lot of hard earned money and time on, he gets jealous. That doesn't make it right to play on the highway but GAH!! He could've cut you some slack!

Hey man I have nothing but respect for cops.... Not trying to be a dick.... but you know with what i did... if i had something break i couldhave hurt or killed myself and many others.

like I said in my other post. I did something very stupid, and i knew better... I crashed a drag car on the streets before doing teh same stupid thing.

Like i said Ive gotta be a man and take responsability for my stupidity.

and the cop did taht to teach me a lesson..... some people the only way they will learn is to take what they love.... (car/money)

and you know... im kinda happy this happened because hopefully some of the kids on this board will learn from my mistakes... and realize that i could have had any part of that could have broken. And i could have very easily lost control and killed not just me but many others.

Yes it sucks i got that big of a tickket... but you know what.... I did everything on it.

Im not trying to be preachy.... But I have seen a few guys on this board taht have really messed up their trucks/cars doing teh same thing....

We all love to go fast... but you know after this... It makes me think about my situation a little more.

Sorry if this seemed preachy or anything....

Whenand if I get the car back... Hopefully the video too... Ill post it....

If i dont get teh video back ill make on for all of you.... this thing is a monster....

but i promise the video will be at the track

that's exactly what I was thinking, that one offense covers 90% of what was listed... if you get stopped on a 4-wheeler on the street, do they write you a ticket for no wipers and no insurance? if your attorney isn't looking at that aspect then you need to fire him and find a new one. Either way talk to the D.A.'s office and be frank with them, they will likely drop most of the charges with the agreeance to pay the impound and fine for one of the items

I hear ya.... im just waiting to see if they even try to make them stick.... I only have a ticket right now.... but from what i understand... the DA is looking at them... and may throw it out in general as long as I pay the impund... and the exhibition of speed fine... which i can take traffic school time...

it pays to have a friend who is a court clerk.... She said the courts are so packed they dont have time for little stuff liek this...

if the traffic court considers this little what the hell is big?!?!

I totally understand, I do some dumb (and potentially dangerous) things every now and then, ok a lot.. but I try to keep it on a backroad or long stretch of country highway away from the guys watching and without a passenger. That way if I wreck, I only hurt myself. I see people endangering others and myself far too often..

Well, I hope you get it all worked out. 15-20k would make me cry. Thats almost like me working a year for free...

WOW, 15-25000 is ALOT, Good luck.. We all have done some pretty dumb things, and now I know it isn't a good idea to drive a race car on the street at 100mph+_ infront of a cop......Who would of thought? LMAO....J/K Glad to see you take it so well, Sure you did all those things, but I think I would have had a hearth attack after hearing the cost..
