hey guys i was just wondering if anyone knows of any like truck groups around here in dfw.. i got a buddy that has a mustang adn he is always hanging out with some mustang performance group and to tell you the truth.. i dont much like mustangers..lol.. anywyas if anyone knows anything then pm me or just write back on here.. thanks

 

i've been wondering this too. i want to find more people around here that like these trucks as much as i do.

 

alot of people meet up at 360 and Pioneer pkwy around 9pm on wed and sometimes thur. Its alot of rice sometimes, but theres some good F bodys out there, a couple hemi's, some OBS chevys, and a couple silverados. I usually try and get out there just check out some cars, and have raced once.

Well the last few weekends I have had different trucks at my house (members mainly from this site and gmfullsize), whether it be for logging, exhaust work, etc... I try to post up threads whenever I go to the track to get some trucks out there so I am not soley racing camaros...

 

I'm now in the Rockwall area, i'd be down with a local meet up. i agree with cameron...mustangers meet over here and they are not to fond of me

 

haha.. sorry havent checked this in a couple of days but i didnt know that this many ppl feel the same way.. now regards to 00chevyscott... there is always some kind of meet adn you are normally going to get ricers and **** but i want to get something going around here of just like truck guys... you know and blackgmc i will pm my number so you can call me when u go out to the track.. i got a couple of buddys that go out there and race.. now for me i dont really run cause i got a 4.8 with headers..lol.. but yeh im deffinatly down to get together a few guys and head out somewhere close... anyways i guess everyone pm me or leave a reply on here and we will see how many ppl respond adn maybe we can pick a night to go out or somehing.. thanks for the reply guys

 

Just cause it is a 4.8 with headers doesnt mean you shouldnt run it. Its good times, and there is always someone faster with a bigger wallet so dont worry about trying to impress the crowd just have fun with it!

 

i agree, there is always going to be someone faster. So I just go out to the track for times to see improvements made by mods, or just trying to beat my previous times.

But about the truck meet, luckily i get off most nights around 10, which is around the time most people feel like meeting up it seems, so I'm game just about any night. Id like to stay relatively close to where I live unless its going to be a fairly large meet up. Somewhere off a major highway would be nice, with a large parking lot. Also, I'd suggest we keep these meets show only unless you want to move to a new location to do some racing (having cops show up everytime breaking up the meet sucks)
