How cold is it where you are? Current temp here is -3* with a wind chill of -20 to -30*.

 

its about 20* here w/ windchill of maybe 15* and its DAMN cold for our area

 

It was in the 70's today. It was so nice I took the bike out for a ride.

Hey Vince, I wanted to ask, how often do you recommend a fluid change on your transmissions?
What is your take on the flush Vs. drain?

 

I hear ya man, im in ottawa, IL visiting family. Sunday morning is going to be -37 windchill.

 

If you are going to service them do it religiously. Guy's who race a lot do it every other oil change. I think with normal driving every 10-15,000 miles. As far as doing a complete flush the same rules apply. Just make sure that if you have a t-tech style flush done that after they are done, that they drop the pan and change the filter. Then refill it as normal.

It's really cold and I hate you for being able to go for a bike ride today.

huh... and to think, we got up to 50* today and I was complaining...

 

I feel you on that it was 50 here and I was freezing ***** this morning on the way to work

 

I would kill for 50* here in Chicago right now.

 

The last week has been abnormally warm here, mid 40's to low 60's. Normally it's 15 or so this time of year.
