i'm trying to think of an equivelant if you can find one from when i lived in Buffalo. i don't think they really had anything that was like eating crawfish. i won't even compare eating shrimp to it cause up there they didn't do that a lot. i guess just say it's like having a beer party. any northerner can understand what a beer party is i suppose.

oh yeah, do you have crawfish year around or is there a certain time of year(right now) taht they are very popular. if i ever go down south i will defently have to try some.

We have them all year, but there is also a "season" not a legal season, but when they are running better, bigger, and taste better, and not so hard. You would be hard pressed to catch any during the winter months, but it is possible.

Actually you start catching them decent during the end of December.

They get really good around Easter time. and after. Then they get so hard its hard to peel em and it hurts ya fingers to.

I said they were hard to catch during the winter. Think about it, this is Louisians, we only have about a month of winter


Yea, and hard crawfish suck. i like the ones with "the feaver"

You dont necessarly eat the brains, you suck the juices out of the fat left in the head, Sometimes I suck the heads. My oldest boy would rather suck the heads than eat the tails sometimes
