I've never played WOW, but my little bro is addicted, but he wouldn't steal my card, he's got more money then me and pays for like 6 months at a time, lol

nope, i never played it, never even seen it, except for the South Park episode. That is the only reason I knew what it was...... I really don't buy anyting online, except I just bought a new laptop form dell.... It is affecting alot of people, do a simple Yahoo search with the words that showed up on my statement.

so how did they get your bank info? That's not something just floating around the interweb.

 

Um.. ya it is. Every time you buy something online, at a store, or restaurant or anywhere, using a credit/debit card, and especially writing a check, you give out ALL your banking info.

 

I buy almost everything I can with this card, and have for the last 4-5 years, cuz i get cash back and pay it off every month. This is the FIRST time I have ever had any issues with it, and I buy all kinds of things off the internet with it too.

 

If i knew the answer to that question then I could have prevented it. I called the billing company and they said they needed 5 pieces of information in order to process the charge and they were

Name as it appears on the card
CC #
Expiration date
Secuirty code on the back
Mailing zip code.

The card is still in my possession, so I have no clue on how they got it, more than likely one of the places that I use my card such as all my bills (cell, insurance, water, electric, satelitle, etc) was hacked and someone got the information. Or some virus, spy ware, mal ware, was runnin on my computer while I paid for one of the above and transmitted it to whomever or some of that information might be stored on my computers cache internet pages,

Basically I have no idea, but the personal responsible should burn!!!
