I really don't know honestly. Erin pushed through over night but there still reporting thunderstorms with more than 60% chance of rain. I work on Galveston Island and it wasn't that bad. Harborside got it's share and as far as the seawall I'm not sure. It's the flats before the causeway that flood and the traffic from the bridge that you have to keep and eye on. I doubt that there will be that many people out on the Island just because of the weather. I'm sure with our fickle weather system everything will work out for the best.

Guys,
I have decided to postpone the cruise to another time, maybe October.
There's a lot of uncertainty with the weather, there's a 40% chance, but that just means there's a 1 in 4 chance that we'll see rain, it may rain ALL day. I also would hate for the guys to waste their gas this weekend and end up having to evacuate this coming week if Hurricane Dean decides to visit us. I'd rather everyone be safe and taken care of and do it another time when we can enjoy it more.
Sorry for the last minute, but we all know how Houston weather is!
