ok,here is the deal!My dad has an 02 Z71 with a 5.3 and we got the Ls1-GT2-3 Lingenfelter cam kit with LS6 springs!I had a buddy who was gonna do it but he had to go back home to Salt Lake for work,now I am not sure what to do!I know that MTI wants about 700.00 for a cam swap,kind of thought that was alot!
Who in the Houston area can do this or is willing to do it and for how much???
In case you are wondering why this mild cam,the reason is because his wife (my step mother) can not know about it so he had to go with a cam that has very little or no loping at all!My buddy who was gonna do the swap has this exact cam kit on his C3 6.0 and it ran very nice and pulled hard!So that is the main reason why we went with this cam so it had no lopin to it!

Get with 02Denali. I have heard he has done several swaps in his garage.

 

post on tech. i am sure a lot of the f & v body guys have done a lot of cam swaps.

 

try "Inspector12" he lives in pearland and does cam installs on the side

 

I do them also you can't go wrong with Jeff ( inspector12 ) or Lance ( 02 Denali he has a new screen name that I can't remember 04fx4 or something like that, he is a mod so he should not be to hard to find)
