lowered trucks beware, roads suck and watch for pot holes that could swallow a wheel

 

he is right the streets in nola are terrible

 

Well damn, thats not what I was wondering but thanks for the heads up...

I was trying to gather some ideas of good romantic places to pop the question to my girlfriend, I think Im gonna ask her when we are in New Orleans next month. Ive got a few ideas but I know you locals would know what the best places are, especially if you can ask your lady friends...

 

If you want o do it in a restaurant I would recommend Commanders Palace or Dickie Brennans. Commanders is the best and I have had a few friends propose there. Also for a damn nice hotel I would recommend the Westin which is on the outskirts of the French Quarter and has great great river views. Any if you want something more secluded than a restaurant I would just recommend walking around the French Quarter until you find a nice spot as that scenario has way to many possibly locations to list.

My advice: Commanders Palace...
