I dont know how many of you guys saw my thread in the drivetrain forum but I just cooked a 9.5" PI Vig converter... does anyone have a converter out there for a 60/65E around 3200-3500 RPM stall??? I need to pick one up of you do. Let me know. Thanks. I'm in a bind once again. the stocker is going back in today.

I dont even remember what it drives like with the stock converter LOL.... I guess we'll see... my stocker has been rained ON but has had a cap on the snout so it hasnt got water inside it... I'm going to fill it with fresh fluid anyway though... its been sitting for a few months. I hate having problems like this.

That's something I'm curious about... how do you drain a converter w/o drilling a hole in it? I've let my 3K stall sit a day, and noticed fluid floating up the snout. Before I install a new trans, I want to flush the 3K TC before running old fluid through the new trans.

I dont think you can completely drain it without opening it up. you definitely should fill it up before you install it so the trans pump doesnt start up dry.
the converter quit locking up properly and started stalling to the moon... its no the trans slipping. I barely have 5K on the level 5 FLT... I have more faith in Chuck and Vince than that... I know my stock 5.3 doesnt make THAT much powa
