Few years back, Goshawk had a big GTG at his house. We made a weekend of it. BradS and I had a crawfish cook off (which I won!!
) did a cam swap, installed a nitrous kit, etc etc. It was defiantly a full weekend of partying, racing, and general hanging out, goofing off, and some serious *** clowning.
Anyway, we decided we were gonna start it back. Im gonna host it this year in South La. Prairieville to be exact. Its right outside of Baton Rouge.
Were trying to work schedules out for a date, but looking at within the month. Or there abouts. I have to get some definates, but I think Im making a trip to Birmingham on the 6th of June, so that weekend is out.
Other than that, Im open for the most part of the end of May, first part of June.
Also need to decide some food options. John (Goshawk) mentioned a BBQ. I think I have access to get a wild hog, and am more than willing to BBQ the whole thing, I also have gas grill for other stuff. Not sure what the price of Crabs will be, but depending on price and availability, Im willing to boil crabs as long as I can have a helper to help with the BBQ.
I can also cook a Pastalaya, or sauce piquante, or a combination of the above.
Lets try and get this ball rolling. Parking at my place is going to be an issue, but Im sure we can work it out.
As far as racing, while I dont condone street racing
Quite a bit has been done not far from the house, and both No Problem Raceway park, and State Capital Raceway are about a 45min- 1 hour drive.
If you can make it, post up what dates are best for you, or at least what will work. Unfortunatly Im sure someones schedule wont work, but we decided to do it here instead of Mississippi in hopes of some of yall Texas boys making the trip.

I won because God made crawfish for coonasses to boil. Only Yankees steam their food.
Well Yankees and *******!!

also, if you recall. ALL the coonasses voted for mine. It was the rednecks that think crawfish should kill taste buds that were undecided.
I don't make mine that hot, but I find boiled seafood has wayyy better flavor than steamed.
If you want a re match, find some crawfish. I'll out cook you again =)
