Get that truck going and shut him up. But If he has to have the best out there, why did he get a base C6 instead of the Z06?

 

i kind of think people like that are funny, i mean all it is , is ignorance. then when you line up to them its just the best feeling waving good bye to them. i had a guy recently on the SS forum call me out and wanted to race at the track , and to my surprise he showed up, he wouldnt tell me what he had under the hood or answer anything i asked, so i gladly popped my hood and said here is what i have ,lets race, i ended up beating him by 1.5 seconds. he then came up to me and said his truck wasnt running good. i told him i would be ready anytime he wanted to go round 2.

 

Transmission is already out going to get rebuilt this weekend, half the motor is torn down and the 6L is on the engine stand ready to be cleaned


He got the C6 when they first came out, the Z06 wasnt out yet and I dont think he makes enough to get the Z06 but thats beside teh point.

I will thoroughly enjoy dragging his *** down I-35

My last encounter with MR. know it all was a week ago.
Took a 02 LS6 and a 4l60e and drooped them in to an 80 model Monty carlo.
Only used the part of the wiring harness to make it work.
No connection to check for codes.
Never got it tuned for his new gear ratio and tire size.
Used some off the wall fuel pump to take fuel right out of the old gas tank with no filter.
The list just go's on with all of the rigged up stuff to make it work.
Like a fool I tried to tell him what all he needed to do to make it run right and all I was doing was talking out of my ***.
It runs perfect the way it is, so I just shut up, save my breath I can live longer.

 

I hear ya Pappy, I quit trying to tell him anything a long time ago, he will just have to see for himself that I know what Im talking about when a 5600# truck walks his precious vette

 

I get people I work with ask me all the time how much power my truck has. When I tell them they usually don't say any more. Half of them, I can tell, are thinking i'm a moron. I could care less, i'd rather not talk about it. I only voluntarily talk about it to people I know that appreciate it or have a clue.
I mostly just get laughed at for being on engine #3 in a basically brand new truck with a warranty that is no good and only 17k miles on it . I know i'm a dumb ***, they don't have to tell me.

 

im new around the trucks site here (just picked up an 03 silverado with 4.8) an i want to say TurboGibb's your truck is badazz. nicely done bro...im really impressed. bug thumbs up!
