Default 230/236 .592/.602 112 + 5.3l?

230/236 .592/.602 112 LSA 2400-6800 RPM Power Band. Excellent mid-range & high RPM power. 3200+ stall, 3.42+ gear, computer tuning required.

too much for a 5.3L?? i find the 220/220 quite lame after a few months, and lots of folks running to 224. how do you think this would be in my truck with my sig?? my money problems got solved and left some extras (thats a first)

oh yeah, how much lift cant a 5.3 handle before things start rubbin?

not in the budget, if i sell my 220 & TCI 3K i could afford one. is it do-able? wonder what street manners are, i look at the 220 like a stocker. no hassles at all, quite comfortable. Cam sticky said it would be "POOR". whos opinion is that? my old man thinks the 220 is too much... so i mean, who is to say what is too much? anyone with a 23x/23x wanna chime in?

for a big truck like that and what you are looking for,
i'd suggest tsp 224 , .581 on a 112.
that cam is way over kill for what you have.

Damn man, that's a big cam for a 5.3... too big IMO. Iv'e got one very similar to it in my 6 Litre with heads and a 4000 stall.

i'm not going to say it's too big for a 5.3 but it might be too big for that motor and a heavy truck. if you went with it you better get a converter that stalls way up.

however i am like everyone else, try a 224 or 226. my 224 in my 5.3 was nice. needed some tuning obviously but it would pull pretty hard up top
